I'm not sure if this is the right place for my comments but hopefully if not you'll direct them to the right place. I have been the primary caretaker of my now 9 1/2 year old granddaughter since preschool. She has been attending VHES since K. I love the school and the staff at VH. The one thing that I think would be so helpful would be to include an introductory technology session at orientation to familiarize parents with setting up their equipment and familiarize them with the use of the programs that each school uses. I think these sessions should take place at the school your child attends to make it more accessible to people that are new to the school system and those who are already overextended timewise. I think communication between teachers and parents is vital in being supportive all around. I, personally, am ever so grateful for the support I've been able to maintain with her teachers through Seesaw!
Thanks for the feedback! I know our schools provide technology supports for families at the beginning of the year (and throughout the year), but we're always looking for ways to improve. I've passed your message along to VHES principal Sara Svir and to our technology team, so your feedback has been passed along to the appropriate places. Thank you again!
